PURPOSE:To enable high density recording, by increasing a recording signal voltage as high as possible, through making a time passing under a recording electrode as <=10<-5>sec for a recording medium and specifying a recording signal voltage. CONSTITUTION:In the Figure indicating the relation between a recording signal voltage V and a time of each surface point on a recording medium passing under a recorded electrode, record enabled area beta, recording impossible area alpha, and discharge destruction area gamma exist. A time during which the recording medium passes under the recorded electrode is assumed as <=10<-5>sec. As a recording signal voltage, a voltage in which destruction by discharge is caused at >=10<-2> and not caused at <=10<-5>sec, is impressed. Thus, the recording signal voltage is increased to the maximum in the range that the recording medium is not destroyed and the maximum recordable frequency is increased, allowing high density recording. |
