PURPOSE:To prevent an evil caused by the contact of a stop valve and also, to facilitate the insertion, by providing an indication rod indicating the extent of insertion of detection head and a guide for insertion of the detection head. CONSTITUTION:A length (l) of an indication rod 11 is set so as to contact the tip end of the rod 11 with a base 61 of a head for detection 6 immediately before arriving the tip end of the head 6 at a stop valve 3. The head 6 is then inserted by guiding with a guide 12 and the valve 3 is opened to its full width when the tip end of the rod 11 is brought into contact with the base 61. Then, the head 6 is inserted continuously and is set at a prescribed measuring position in a pipe line 1 wherein the fluid to be measured is flowing. Thus, various evils caused by contacting with the valve 3 at the time of insertion of the head 6 are prevented from occurring and also, the insertion is facilitated. |
