PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency of a combined cycle plant comprising a gas turbine and a steam turbine, by evaporating, superheating and reheating the working fluid of the steam turbine in the exhaust and combustion chambers of the gas turbine. CONSTITUTION:Water is conduced under pressure by a feed water pump 14 to an economizer 15 in a waste heat recovery boiler 7. The water heated by the economizer 15 is conducted to a steam and water drum 17 and then circulated through an evaporator 16 and the drum 17 by a circulation pump 18 so that the weater is changed into saturated steam. The saturated steam is conducted to a superheater 3 in the combustion chamber 2 of a gas turbine 5 so that the steam is superheated. The superheated steam is conducted to a high-pressure turbine 10 and then heated by a reheater 4 in the combustion chamber 2. After that, the steam is conducted to a medium-pressure turbine 10 and then a low-pressure turbine 11. |
