The present invention relates to novel ferrocene derivatives, i.e. the compounds l,l'-bisdi(4-chlorophenyl)phosphino!ferrocene, 1,1'-bisdi(3-fluoro-phenyl)phosphino!ferrocene and l,l'-bisdi(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)phosphino!-ferrocene. These compounds are useful catalysts in hydroformylation reactions.
