PURPOSE:To reduce an image signal with simple circuit constitution, by inserting a transmission line, 1/8 in length to a wavelength of a local signal frequency, between a terminal of noninverting side of a hybrid circuit for input/output branch and a nonlinear element. CONSTITUTION:When a local frequency signal is applied to a terminal 5'' of a hybrid circuit H7, signals with the phase difference of 90 deg. appear at terminals 8, 9. When an intermediate frequency signal is applied to a terminal 1'' of a hybrid circuit H8, signals with the phase difference of 90 deg. appear at terminals 10, 11. The phase of the frequency component of a local frequency signal applied to a frequency conversion diode 23' is delayed by 1/8 wavelength at a transmission line 7. The frequency component converted at a frequency conversion diode 23' at a frequency conversion diode 23' is applied to the terminal 9 by pi/4 in phase at the transmission line 7, and only the signal of frequency component of the sum of the local frequency and the intermediate frequency can be picked up at a terminal 6''. |
