PURPOSE:To form a toner picture directly on an ordinary paper sheet by making the sheet touch magnetic toner chains arranged on the surface of a specific developing roll having magnetism and by heating the sheet selectively from the back thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical shell 15 of low permeability is provided on the outside of a magnetic rotor 14 wherein alternately different magnetic poles (permanent magnetic sectors 17) are arranged and a plurality of lines formed of a plurality of conductor pieces 19 of high permeability are arranged throughout the entire outside periphery of the sheel 15 in parallel to the cylinder shaft thereof, whereby the developing roll 12 is formed. The recording paper sheet 20 is made to run across a recording region 21 from the developing roll 12, while at the back of the sheet 20 is arranged a thermal recording head 22 provided with heating bodies 22' in positions corresponding to the aforesaid conductor pieces 19. The developing roll 12 rotated around a shaft 18 is supplied with magnetic toner 13 from a reservoir 11, which is retained as the toner chains 13' on the surface of the shell 15. Next, in the recording region 21, the heating bodies 22' of the head 22 are electrified selectively and thereby the toner chains 13' are fused to the recording paper sheet 20. |
