An intermediate for a novel cephalosporin shown by the formula III. PROCESS:A compound shown by the formula IV is acylated with a 4-halogeno- 3-oxo-butyryl halide to give a compound shown by the formula V wherein A= -CH2- in the formulaI, and the compound shown by the formula III is reacted with the compound shown by the formula VI or its reactive derivative to give a compound shown by the formula VII wherein A= the formula II in the formulaI.</p> |
