PURPOSE:To detect malfunction on a transmission side by comparing input data to bus drivers with actual data on a data transmission bus to which outputs of drivers are connected in common. CONSTITUTION:Bit D0 among data bits D0-Dn of an input signal to a driver DV, and an output signal dot-ORed on a BUS are compared mutually by an exclusive OR EOR gate and when their dissidence is detected, a signal OE with logic 1 is outputted to set a flip-flop FF. Consequently, a BUSOFF falls and a BUSCON also falls to inhibit outputting operation. Therefore, the malfunction of the driver DV is discriminated to minimize the deterioration and destruction of a driver element. |
