<p>PURPOSE:To remove hydrogen chloride with a small amt. of alkali agents with high efficiency by including a powdery alkali dispersed in gaseous flow in the fluidized bed of packing materials intersecting orthogonally with the waste gas passage direction in removing the hydrogen chloride from waste gases of waste incineration furnaces and the like. CONSTITUTION:slaked lime 1 in a powdery alkali agnet (slaked lime) storage tank 11 is dispersed in the gases in a piping 16A, and is captured by the packing materials 2 in a fluidized bed 13 by passing through a gas hood 30. The waste gases introduced through an inlet hood 22 contact with the slaked lime 1 while they pass through the clearances of the materials 2, thereby forming calcium chloride which is the product 3 of reaction. The clean gases are released together with the carrier gas of the slaked lime 1 through a piping 16B out through an outlet hood 23. The product 3 of reaction is discharged together with the materials 2 through a discharge valve 20, and is separated from the materials 2 by means of a vibrating screen 24. The cleaned materials 2 are cyclically reused. Part of the waste are usable for the carrier gas for the slaked lime 1.</p> |
