PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the transfer of information passed through a common bus, by adding information on the cause of blocking to common-bus blocking information by an information processing system which sends the detected common-bus blocking information. CONSTITUTION:When common-bus blocking is detected, a system monitoring device SWC' discriminates whether an accessed address is included in any of the input control register areas RA-A-RA-N of a hardware fixed area HWA, and transfers the discrimination result to a central processor, which recognizes the cause of the common-bus blocking immediately. |
