<p>The end cap consists of an enclosure disc of a dia. equal to the outside dia. of the tube. A metal support bridge is welded to the disc and a spring clip is fixed to the bridge. The clip is made from a strip of spring steel turned down at each end, so that the width is slightly greater than the inside dia. of the tube. When the spring clip is introduced into the tube, the closure is automatically centred and held against it's own weight and vibration.</p> |
