PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and inexpensive pressure sensitive sensor, by providing electrodes at both sides of an elastic tangled body entangled many electrically conductive fibers only or with another nonconductive fiber and constituting so that electric resistance is varied by a load which is loaded on said body. CONSTITUTION:An electric entangled body 1 wherein an electrically conductive fiber is entangled with another nonconductive fiber is packed in an insulation cell 3. Electrodes 2, 2' are provided on the upper and lower parts of the body 1 and a lead wire 6 is connected. When a loads given to an insulating case 4, the body 1 is compressed by the electrode 2' resisting to a coil spring 5 and the electric resistance of the body 1 is varied. The pressure is measured by detecting the variation of this electric resistance. Hereby, a simple and inexpensive pressure sensitive sensor is obtained. |
