The feed is for automatic watering of potted plants, using a header tank (2) with a constant water level. A pipe (3) feeds water from the tank to the pots (5) or other watering points, connecting to each pot via a calibrated discharge aperture (8). The apertures are located at different levels to suit the needs of the plant, and the tank may be fed from a domestic supply with the water level controlled by a float. Alternatively, the feed may be introduced through a main (1) and auxiliary tank, the main tank feeding the auxiliary through a float-actuated valve. The auxiliary tank may be incorporated in the bottom of the main tank, being fed through an opening controlled by a conical valve mounted on a float-actuated lever.
