The invention relates to a bitumen-containing PVC insulation board. According to the invention, the board consists of four plies: a) a 0.4-1.2 mm thick, dense PVC sheet which may contain bitumen, b) a 0.4-2 mm thick PVC foam ply which may contain bitumen and has a closed cell structure, c) a 0.1-1 mm thick adhesion ply and d) a separating ply to allow unwinding. The ply c) has the object of allowing the insulating material to be stuck on, of ensuring perfect sealing at the overlaps and in addition also of insulating. Its composition is therefore particularly important. Preferably, the adhesion ply therefore consists of 50-80 % by weight of bitumen, 15-5 % by weight of adhesion-promoting substances, 12-2 % by weight of synthetic rubber, 23-13 % by weight of substances affecting the softening point and, if appropriate, fillers. The insulation board according to the invention adheres firmly to concrete and provides an absolutely water-tight seal even at the overlaps.
