<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cracks owing to load in the joined part of both members by providing auxiliary grooves on both or one side of the groove of a strength member receiving load in a joined body of dissimilar members consisting in securing a dissimilar member such as cooling pipe into said groove by means of solder or the like. CONSTITUTION:A groove 2 is formed in a strength member 1, and a cooling pipe 3 or the like by a dissimilar member is fitted therein, thence both are joined and secured by means of adhesives 4 such as solder. Auxiliary grooves 6, 6 are set at the same depth as that of the groove 2 on both or one side of the groove 2 of the member 1. Since the load 5 to be exerted from the top of the member 1 is prevented from transmitting to the pipe 3 in the groove 2 by the presence of the grooves 6, the generation of stress in the solder joined part is obviated and the generation of cracks by stress is obviated as well. It is equally well to form auxiliary grooves 7 as part of the groove 2 of the strength member.</p> |
