The invention relates to the field of metallurgy and is applicable to the drawing of, in particular, wire, rods and tubes. The aim of the invention is to achieve an increase in productivity and a reduction in cost especially when deforming high-alloy materials. The object on which the invention is based is to develop a process for drawing by means of pressure nozzles, in which a lubricant substrate is avoided as far as possible and a pressure sufficient to guarantee hydrodynamic lubrication conditions is obtained in the pressure nozzle, and in particular also when drawing high-alloy materials, at high drawing speeds, high degrees of deformation and small diameters. According to the invention, a solid lubricant film is applied to the starting material and the deformation material is drawn between all or some of the pressure nozzles and, if required, is additionally drawn, after the last pressure nozzle, directly at the exit of the working drawing die through a liquid which serves for cooling and removing the residual lubricant film or for cooling and coating with a lubricant. |
