For each width of the control card, the apparatus has a baseplate (6) with two fixed pins (60), the spacing of which corresponds to the distance between the feed holes of a control card. The baseplates (6) are combined to form a turret roller which is mounted rotatably on a carrier frame (1, 4). The adjustment of the apparatus from one control card to another of a different width takes place quickly and reliably and moreover the apparatus is particularly suitable for the welding of the card ends by means of a welding appliance mounted on the rail (13) of the frame (1). <IMAGE>
