The walking stick is formed from two metal tubular sections (10 and 11) connected together by a removable transparent tube (2) in which a lamp (1) is fastened. The transparent tube and the lamp are located close to the tip of the walking stick. The lamp is fastened to an inner tube (14) in which the batteries (15), intended to supply the lamp with power, are placed. The lamp is switched on or off by means of a switch (3) actuated by a push-button (7) placed in the handle of the walking stick. <IMAGE>
