PURPOSE:To improve separation of xylenol isomers, by a method wherein adenosine, guanosine, inosine, caffeine, isatin and theophyline are used as stationary phase liquid. CONSTITUTION:If adenosine, guanosine, inosine, caffeine, isatin and theophyline are used as stationary phase liquid at a temperature ranging 120-160 deg.C, six isomers of xylenol are separated well. Above mentioned compound is applied to fire brick of 10-20% C22 in 60-80mesh, and in atmosphere of 120-140 deg.C nitrogen gas is used as a carrier gas at flow rate of 20-25ml/min. In this constitution, xylenol isomers can be separated better than before and this is effective in analysis of phenol compound in industrial chemistry. Particularly, adenosine and caffeine can be separated nearly at the base line separation. |
