PURPOSE:To perform the transactions with the customers in various types of money units and to prevent the confusion in confirming the display, by performing an input process of the sales data of articles with only a specific unit of money and at the same time changing the display of the unit of money into the unit of money which customers desired. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 4 of an ECR contains keys K1-K5 that designate the type of money, a figure register key K6, a department key K8, etc. The department price is supplied with the prescribed unit of money and then supplied to an RAM3 under the control of a CPU1. The RAM3 includes conversion rate memories M2-M6 for each unit of money, a total memory M1 containing flags F1-F9 for each unit of money, a display memory M7, etc. Then the sales data of articles is supplied based on the program of an ROM2 and under the control of the CPU1 with only a specific unit of money. The display at a display 5 is changed into the unit of money the customer desires. Thus the transactions are carried out to the customers with various types of money to prevent the confusion of transactions. |
