PURPOSE:To eliminate nonuniformity in concentration by forming the same plated metal as common electrodes formed on a long edge part even on common electrodes formed on a short edge part of a ceramic substrate, thereby increasing the thickness of the common electrodes and decreasing the electric resistance. CONSTITUTION:On the ceramic substrate 1, a resistive heating body 2, a common electrode 7, and a protecting film 8 are formed. Thereafter the plating is performed on the common electrode 7 in order to increase the thickness of the common electrode 7 and to decrease the electric resistance. When the protecting film 8 is formed on the common electrodes 7c and 7d, the resistance values at those parts are not decreased, the heating value at the resistive heating body 2 connected to the common electrode 7a becomes different from the heating value of the resistive heating body 2 connected to the common electrode 7b, and the nonuniformity in concentration is yielded in each dot. Therefore, the configuration is designed so that the protecting film 8 is not placed on the common electrodes 7c and 7d. Thus, the difference in concentration of each dot is eliminated, and the recording with uniform concentration can be accomplished. |
