PURPOSE:To reduce not only the number of addresses of an index register within a service processor but the capacity of a page table and to realize the addition of a desired function, by editing and displaying the scanned-out data based on the contents of the page table. CONSTITUTION:A memory controller 3 is connected between plural channel processors 5-0 and 5-1, central processors 4-0 and 4-1, and main memories 2-0 and 2-1 respectively. Then a service processor 1 is connected to the controller 3, and a display 8 is connected to the processor 1. An index register 6 and a page table 7 are provided to the processor 1. The index address is held at the register 6 in common to the access originators of the same type having the same function, and the result of scan is held at the table 7 to the access originators of the same type. Then the scanned-out data is edited and displayed based on the contents of the table 7 to reduce not only the number of registers 6 within the processor 1 but the capacity of the table 7. |
