PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic printing master of high resolving power by applying an ozone treatment on the surface of a photoreceptor from above the toner image thereby changing the properties of the photosensitive layer of the parts having no toner image. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate layer 13 of about 0.1mum thickness is provided on an Al vapor deposited polyester film by coating a chlorodian blue pigment and further a photoconductive layer 12 consisting of polycarbonate and pyrazolone compound is provided thereon, whereby a sheet-like photoreceptor is produced. The photoreceptor whereby a sheet-like photoreceptor is produced. The photoreceptor 1 is electrostatically charged and exposed to form an electrostatic latent image, after which it is developed to form a toner image 3. Thence, this is subjected to an ozone treatment, after which the developer on the photoreceptor surface is removed, whereby a printing master 1' having the latent image A is made. In the part A and part B on this printing master, there is a difference in the quantity of triboelectric charge quantity upon the magnetic toner, and magnetic brush developing and transfer are accomplished repeatedly by utilizing this, whereby multiple sheets of copies are obtained. |
