The invention concerns a method for grinding of draw broaches, whose tooth division has minor faults in relation to a uniform division. On a numerically controlled grinding machine with a grinding head 10 and a bench 15 for mounting a draw broach 14, a tactile sensor 11 is attached to the grinding head 10, with a measuring finger 13, which can put out the precise correction value within a small measurement interval, such as +/- 1 mm. The measurement head is moved successively so that the measuring finger touches the teeth and the deviation corrections are stored in a memory. The sensor is folded back, and the grinding is then done by means of the grinding disc 12 of the grinding head, which is adjusted against the teeth in consideration of the deviations measured during the measurement step. An automatic grinding is then possible, even though the tooth divisions are not uniform. Furthermore, there is compensation for the pitch error, for example, in the setting screws of the grinding machine. <IMAGE> |
