PURPOSE:To make accurate raw material distribution possible by detecting the oscillations of a distributing hopper with a detector on the outside of the furnace in a distributor for a vertical furnace supporting the distributing hopper in a gimbal system. CONSTITUTION:When raw materials 10 begin to flow out, large oscillations are transmitted by means of a ring 3 to a supporting shaft 4 on account of raw material falling from a gathering hopper 12 to a distributing hopper 1 and the impact of the raw materials flowing through the inside of the hopper 1. The anomalous oscillations are detected with a detector 7, are amplified, and are inputted to an operator 9, by which they are compared and operated with natural frequencies, and the raw material outflow state is known. On the verge of the end of the raw material outflow, the oscillations decrease gradually to near the natural frequencies and this indicates the end of the outflow. When the raw material outflow ends, only the oscillations by the swiveling of the hopper 1 are detected and when the swiveling stops, the oscillations go zero. |
