A compn. which generates heat upon contact with O is placed in a container with an opening sealed with an O-permeable material, and the outer surface of the container coated with a pesticide. Thus permethrin was impregnated in paper and the paper placed on the exterior bottom surface of an iron container. In the container 40g of a mixt. contg. anhd. Na2S 2, c black 1, and cermiculite 1 parts was placed through an opening which was then plugged. The whole container was packed in a Al foil-polyethylene film bag which was airtight. When the bag was oepned, heat of the container reached 250≦̸C and > 95% of the permethrin was volatilized in 15 min.
