PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of ink mist through flow down thereof adhered to an ink mist-resisting member by reducing the viscosity of the ink mist and to prevent smearing of a printing surface and an electrode, by a method wherein the ink mist-resisting member with a heating mechanism is placed immediately in front of a printing paper. CONSTITUTION:Ink pressurized by a pressurizing pump 28 is jetted through a nozzle of a jet head 14, and ink column 30 is scattered as ink drops 31 by means of an AC signal fed to a piezoelectric vabrator 15. Mist produced thereupon is adhered to a mist collecting panel 21 with a heating mechanism. The mist collecting panel 21 is heated, whereby ink is reduced in its viscosity and is prevented from adhering in a lump form to the mist collector 21 to flow down and be collected in a collecting channel in a gutter 25. |
