PURPOSE:To obtain a broad strip continuously with good efficiency by holding a molten material in the chamber above the vessel partitioned to the upper and lower chambers by means of a prescribed heat resistant board then pressurizing the same to eject it into the lower chamber through the through-holes of the heat resistant board thence cooling the same. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed molten metal 2 heated in a molten metal well 1 buried with a heater 13 is pressurized and is teemed through a nozzle 3 made of alumina carbon provided with a molten metal flow controller 4 onto a graphite board 6 heated beforehand with a high frequency coil 5 and provided with a part having multiple through-holes 7 and the part having no holes, whereby it is filled on this plate. Right after this, it is pressurized with Ar through a pressurizing pipe 8, then the molten metal 2 ejects through the holes 7 and ejects onto the rotating surface of a roller 10 made of iron by forming a curtain through a nozzle 9, whereby it is quickly cooled. |
