PURPOSE:To increase the safety and to avoid the delay of the time for departure, by carrying out an automatic on/off control of the gate of an automatic ticket examining machine in accordance with the service condition of the trains and accordingly preventing the passengers from running into the train. CONSTITUTION:When the doors of a train are closed, a transmitter 1 provided in the train transmits a door close signal to a gate controller 2. Then the controller 2 gives immediately a gate-on command to a gate 3 and a display 4 to inform the users through the display 4 that they can pass the gate and enter the platform. When the next train arrives, the transmitter 1 in the train transmits the scheduled time for departure to the controller 2. The controller 2 transmits a gate-off signal to the gate 3 and the display 4 respectively when the time for departure comes near. As a result, it is impossible for the users to pass the gate. At the same time, this fact is informed through the display 4 to the users. |
