PURPOSE:To ensure an effective use of a supplied data regardless of the occurrence of a fault, by producing the totalized data of the supplied data and closing the process with use of another floppy disk device in case a fault arises while an input data is stored in a floppy disk device. CONSTITUTION:In case the contents of a totalizing memory 8 cannot be stored in a floppy disk device 6 since a fault arises while an input data is processed, a floppy medium is mounted to the device 6 of another data processor to produce a totalized data. In other words, the read-out final serial number is checked from the contents of the input data which is stored in the device 6, and the final serial number is designated through a keyboard device 10. After this, the supplied data is read out of the device 6 through a reading circuit 9 to be stored in a buffer 4. Only the data to be extracted are extracted out of the buffer 4 and supplied to an arithmetic circuit 7. Then the data already stored in the memory 8 is read to perform an addition/subtraction and then stored in the area of the memory 8. |
