An open & close device for vinyl film of the green-house side wall includes a driving mechanism (5) which comprises a winding rod (4), a driving shaft (8), a handle (9) for the driving shaft, a ratchet (7), a detent (10) for locking the ratchet, a stopper pin (12) for preventing the detent rotate, and several guide rollers (16a, 16b, 16c). The driving mechanism is positioned at one end of the winding rod. The winding rod winds or winds off the vinyl film of the green-house side wall as the winding rod is rotated by the handle.
