PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a data-sequence converting circuit by coupling a writing and a reading major line, where cylindrical magnetic domains propagate by a revolving magnetic field, with minor lines, and coupling respective minor lines with minor loops. CONSTITUTION:In a storage device which uses a cylindrical magnetic domain 2 generated by applying a bias magnetic field B to a magnetic thin plate 1 in the easy magnetization axis direction of its vertical surface, the magnetic thin plate 1 is provided with writing and reading major lines 5 and 4 where the cylindrical magnetic domain propagates by a revolving magnetic field HR. Then, the lines 5 and 4 are coupled by minor lines 11, which are also coupled by minor loops through reproduction writing/reading gates 12. Consequently, if a defective loop 6a is generated, a loop in each sequence with the same order is regarded as a defective to inhibit the writing of information, and control is exercised, page by page, to read information accurately without requiring the complex constitution of a data-sequence converting circuit, etc. |
