PURPOSE:To prevent a defective function block from being selected without a complicated control circuit, by providing an inverting circuit, capable of inverting the specific bit of an address signal, in an IC chip and by controlling the operation of the inverting circuit externally. CONSTITUTION:A chip 6 which has a function block group 5 including function blocks is provided with an inverting circuit 9 which supplies the inverted and uninverted inputs 10 and 11 of a specific address signal bit to the function block group 5, and connection terminals which connect with lead pins 2, 3 and 4 for the address signal, read/write signal and fixed signal of a memory package 1. Then, lead pin 4 is fixed at 1 or 0; and the uninverted input 11 when a defective function block is not selected even by supplying the signal of the lead pin 4 direct to the function block group 5 or the inverted input 10 when the defective function block is selected is selected and connected via connection lines 20. |
