<p>PURPOSE:To utilize powdered materials produced by the movement of a carbonaceous adsorbent and to improve desulfurization and denitration rates by recovering and granulating said materials and using the same as an adsorbent in a moving bed type waste gas desulfurization method involving addition of NH3 into waste gases. CONSTITUTION:NH33 is mixed with a waste gas contg. SOx, NOx 1, and is brought in contact with the active carbon moving bed of a reactor 2, whereby SOx is adsorbed away and NOx is decomposed. The active carbon adsorbing SOx is separated of powdered materials of active carbon and dust with an oscillation screen 5, after which it is fed to a moving bed type regenerator 8 by means of a line 6 and a conveyor 7, so that it is heated and regenerated with an inert gas. The regenerated active carbon is separated of the powdered materials of active carbon produced during regeneration with an oscillation screen 10, after which it is circulated to a reactor 2 by means of a line 11 and a conveyor 12. The powdered materials are fed through a line 13 to a granulator 14, and after they are molded and activated, the granules are supplied to the reactor. The adsorbent obtd. by granulating the powdered materials has higher removal rates of SO2 and NO than ordinary active carbon, and if it is used as an adsorbent, it improves desulfurization and denitration rates.</p> |
