PURPOSE:To equalize optical sensitivity during continuous copying, by charging a sensitive material having a cadmium sulfide binder resin photoelectric layer, and continuously forming an electrostatic latent image, then charging in reverse polarity to irradiate erasing light. CONSTITUTION:A cadmium sulfide binder resin photoelectric layer consists of photoelectric materials formed by, for example, CdS.nCd CO3(0<n<=4). A sensitive material drum 1 is equally charged by a main corona charger 2, and continuously, an original 3 is exposed and projected by a lamp 4 and a lens 5 to form negative polarity electrostatic latent image. This electrostatic latent image is developed by a developing unit 6. Successively, this is transferred to a transferring paper 7 by a transferring charger 8. Residual toner is removed by an elastic blade 9. Corona charger 10 for reversing in polarity of residual electric potential which is reversed in polarity (positive polarity) to a main corona charger 2, and a light eraser 11 are located between the transferring charger 8 and the main corona charger. |
