PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a heat sensitive printer by performing a line feed of a sheet to be transferred and the winding of an ink film by a line feed power source. CONSTITUTION:When a type head is slid in a type unit and one line is typed, a motor 3 is thereafter rotated to perform a line feed. The rotation of the motor 3 is transmitted t a feed roller 5, and the motor 3 is rotated in the prescribed revolution, thereby feeding the sheet 1 in the prescribed distance. Thus, an ink film 2 is wound via a belt 6 or the like. Since the film 2 and the sheet 1 are bonded in the type unit and the takeup quantity of the film 2 by a takeup spool 9 is different, a malfunction occurs in the quantity of line feed. Accordingly, in order to prevent the malfunction, a slip clutch 7 is slipped in the necessary amount to absorb the quantity corresponding to the difference of the line feed. A scraper 10 is operated to reduce the force for isolating the film 2 and the sheet 1 as much as possible, thereby decreasing the necessary transmission toruqe of the clutch 7. |
