The winding guide comprises a spiral wire (12), the lower part of which is fastened to a rigid bearing (2) having an exit groove (11) for the roving (1). In the bearing (2) there is an entry groove (14) for the roving (1) which is in the extension of the axis of the upper part of the spiral wire arranged unsupported. The invention can be used for winding machines for rovings of textile fibres with false twist, especially at the exit of a rubber condenser or an intersecting unit. <IMAGE>
