PURPOSE:To enhance resistance to weather, light, heat, scratch, and combustion of an organic lens, by adding a specified amount of ultraviolet absorber to a mixture containing each specified amount of 3 kinds of specified monomers, and causing radical copolymerization of these mixture. CONSTITUTION:>=1 kinds of monomers represented by the formulaIin which X is halogen except fluorine, or H, and (m) is 0 or 1-4, 9-80pts.wt; >=1 kinds of monomers represented by the formula II in which Y is halogen except fluorine, R1 is H or methyl, and (n) is 0 or 1-4, 20-80pts.wt.; and a monomer represented by the formula III in which R1 is H r methyl, R2 is same or different 1-6C alkyl or halogen except fluorene, and (m), (m') are 0 or 1-4, 1-80pts.wt.; and an ultraviolet absorber, 0.01-20pts.wt. are mixed in a solvent, and this solution is subjected to radical copolymerization to obtain a synthetic resin lens from this copolymer. |
