The enclosure for a pocket torch is made such the reflector is clipped under the enclosure edges and the lens clipped into the base of the reflector. The pocket torch has a battery at one end of the case and the lens on one side rather than at the end. The enclosure is mfd. in a front half (23) and a back half (6), hinged together along one side. The battery (11) has a spring contact to the side of the bulb (8) while the enclosure acts as the contact to the end of the bulb (8). The bulb carrier (7) rests on the rear face of the enclosure, and is retained by a tubular extension (9), perpendicular to the lens face (21), carrying tabs (12) at the end to fit under the reflector (22) which is itself fitted under the edge of the opening in the front (23) of the enclosure. |
