PURPOSE:To keep a specified high temperature of fuel cell irrespective of the load by providing a recirculation system between cooling water outlet side and cooling water inlet side of a fuel cell connecting the cooling water outlet side with the cooling water inlet side hydraulically independent of a cooling water circulation system. CONSTITUTION:A cooler 4 forms a circulation system comprising a cooling part 1c of fuel cell, a steam separator 4a, a circulation pump 4b and a water control valve 4c hydraulically connected in series. At a part of the cooler, i.e. between inlet and outlet of cooling water of fuel cell cooling part 1c, a recirculation system 5 is provided to connect both sides hydraulically. Also, a recirculator 6 is provided inside the recirculation system to forcibly return a part of cooling water drained from the cooling part 1c to inlet side thereof. As the load of fuel cell decreases, the cooling water flow rate at inlet side of the cell cooling part is always kept at a flow rate of W by controlling the opening each of a cooling water recirculation flow control valve 6b and a cooling water flow control valve 4c through a controller 7, so that a specified high temperature can be maintained. |
