PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time by replacing a final original in last circulation with a 1st original in following circulation immediately even at the pause of the circulation of originals. CONSTITUTION:A copy quantity is set and originals are set in the stack tray 301 of a recycle type document feeder (RDF) 300. Then a mode where in original sets are formed, one by one, is set and the feeder is started. Then the RDF 300 separates the original from the lowermost part of the stack, sheet by sheet, and stops them on an exposure surface through a sheet path 304. Then one-sheet copying operation is started and a next original is separated and then replaced immediately at the end of copying operation. The original after the copying is stacked in the tray 301 again through a sheet path 305. The replacement of this original is performed by the same operation as usual even when one cycle of the set originals is completed. Thus, the processing time for the copying of plural sheets is shortened. |
