PURPOSE:To quantitatively analyze the status of utilization of land extending over a wide range, by automatically setting a training area required for dividing of area for color aerial photography, by use of a map information, and making a state of a picture element of the color aerial photography correspond to the present state of utilization of land. CONSTITUTION:A map and an aerial photography are scanned and sampled by a image input device 7, and are inputted as a digital image which has collected image elements, to a computer 24 for executing the control and statistical processing of the whole system of a processing part 1. In order to make the aerial photography inputted to this computer 24 correspond to a position of a map, the distortion is corrected by a image processing device 25, and the aerial photography and the map are stored in an aerial photography file 3 and a map file 2, respectively. Also, a topographical map of an area to be analyzed in read out to a symbol recognition part 26 from the file 3 by the computer 24, and a symbol in the topographical map is recognized by use of a symbol pattern of a symbol pattern file part 27. Subsequently, a position of the aerial photography corresponding to a position of the recognized symbol is set to a training area, and image element data is collected from the aerial photography. |
