PURPOSE:To print a commodity name by use of a full name to make it legible, and to eliminate unlegibility of a printed record, by providing a titled part showing a commodity classification, and a breakdown part in which each commodity and amount are entered, on the sales record by an ECR. CONSTITUTION:To a microprocesor CPU of an ECR, a read-out exclusive ROM for storing a program, and an RAM for storing a name printing data of each commodity name, a unit price, a number and a name printing data of a belonging group, and data related to sales such as rough sales calculation of each commodity, the number of sold articles, etc. are conneted. Subsequently, in accordance with an operation of each commodity key of the keyboard, a printing data of a classification name belonging to its commodity, and data regarding a name of its commodity are read out from the RAM and the area for its commodity, respectively, and supplied to the printer. This read-out classified name is printed on the upper line, the commodity name and the sales price are printed on the lower line, and also the sales recording operation for integrating the sales amount and the sales quantity to each part of the commodity sales amount and the sales quantity of the area regarding the same commodity of the RAM is executed by a program of the ROM. |
