PURPOSE:To store fixed charges in a capacitor for absorbing surge at all times by connecting a series circuit of a resistor for discharge and a discharge controlling element in parallel with the capacitor for absorbing surge. CONSTITUTION:When a transistor Q1 is at on, current I1 flow through the primary winding P of a transformer T1 while the VC voltage of the capacitor C1 for absorbing surge drops in an exponential function shape through the conduction of a transistor Q2 by the action of bias winding B2. When the transistor Q1 is at off, the transistor Q2 is also at off, and discharge is stopped while surge generated at the primary winding P is charged to the capacitor C1 for absorbing surge throgh a diode D1. Accordingly, when the on time of the transistor Q1 is long, the quantity of discharge increases, but a balance is zero because the energy of surge is also large at that time, and energy stored in the capaicitor C1 can be kept constant. |
