A clip comprises a basic jaw 1 having mounted thereon a resilient jaw 2 operable by a clip stirrup 3 journalled to the basic jaw, in which extending from the basic jaw is a strap 6 of bend resistent sheet material capable of having its extending end doubled backwards to securely clamp in the fold 6c so formed the doubled edge 5a of material to which the clip is secured. The strap 6 may have projections 6d which engage the braces strap in the clamped position. The strap 6 is mounted on a flap. 1a of the basic rib 1 by a slat 6b. |
