The installation for measuring the radiation emitted by the ground on a piece of gland or in a building (1) comprises at least two detectors (2, 3) arranged at the same distance (H) from the ground and equidistant (A) from each other. The signals provided from those detectors are combined in a calculating unit (4) so that an indicator (5) provides the difference of the radiation intensity (6, 7) between the locations (8, 9) above which the detectors are arranged at that time. By means of a weft arrangement of a large number of deterctors (102...126) on the surface to be measured (1) and the simultaneous measurement of the radiation emitted by the hearth, a radiation profile is obtained and allows to draw conclusions regarding the underground arrangements (water vains, rocks, etc.). The areas with low radiation intensity (7) may be relatively compensated with respect to the normal radiation intensity (6) to protect humain beings, animals and plants against dammages caused by a defficiency of natural radiation.
|
