Parachute canopy (10) of the type comprising at least one steering or drive aperture (20, 20a) which is adjusted by the parachutist by means of special pull lines (32, 32a). A parachute portion (30, 30a) covers the steering aperture and is openable inwards by means of a pull line inside the parachute canopy, whereas, by the air pressure in the canopy, it is brought into the position covering the steering apertures (20, 20a), in which it is supported and retained by separate holder means (28) such as a netting or the like. |
