The sailboard with a lengthwise-movable skeg embodies a C-section guide rail (1) opening downwards, whose leg-ends are angled inwards to form supporting flanges (4,5) alongside a slot (6). The connecting crosspiece (4) has transversely-aligned locating recesses (9) either side of a central guideway (8). The wider top end of the skeg embodies a central guidance-web (13) passing through the slot (6) and free to slide in the guideway (8). At about mid length this web has cam-pins (16) projecting on either side, engaging the locating-recesses and pressing elastically-pref. via a rubber bolt (17)- against the supporting flange internal faces.
