The front cover has a frame (1) that fits onto the front of the casing and carries cladding (e.g. cloth). The cladding completely covers the front panel and its loudspeaker openings and is transparent to sound. The frame has sound-outlet holes in it and is made of a metal profile. The frame has a sloping main face (10) in which the sound-outlet holes are situated. The sound-outlet holes may also be situated in other parts of the frame. The frame is held at its corners. The advantage lies in sound not being reflected from the frame and interfering with the quality of reproduction.
