<p>A coil winding apparatus for a stator coil of an electric machine, in which wire (1) is wound on spool members (7, 17) having a plurality of steps (17b, 17c, 17d) with different diameters, and the wound coils on the steps are dropped in order of winding into a coil-inserting tool (3) below the spool members (7, 17). On each of said steps (17b, 17c, 17d) is provided a transfer-notch (a), through which the wire is transferred from a smaller to a larger step, to avoid errors in the winding-transfer, i.e. to allow the wire to be wound at the prescribed positions in a reliable manner.</p> |
